Philanthropy
To me, philanthropy is the opportunity to focus on the well-being of others and offer financial leverage to solve problems. My primary cause has been to help children with cancer. I believe that it is misrepresented, misunderstood and underfunded. Why? Well, if you visit an oncology ward in the local children’s hospital, you will see children who have to overcome the fight of their lives and the devastating side effects that come with it – and it hasn’t changed much in the past 20 years.
I am proud to see a growing philanthropy movement globally – this is caused by an increase in desire to see the successful and wealthy give back. However, not much of this movement flows into the childhood cancer cause. It’s my goal to tell their story and help raise the cure rate and boost the level of care provided through several projects.
I’ve branched out into a few other areas as well so I’ve listed my projects below for you to explore. Please join me in these projects – we need help; spread the word!
